Flynn’s is a fourth-generation painting contractor with 100 years of experience in the painting and decorating industry, currently managed by Adrian Flynn.
Generation 1- The Flynn family’s first association with Painting & Decorating dates back to 1922 when Adrian’s great grandfather James Flynn commenced business as a sole trader.
Generation 2 – Adrian’s grandfather Charlie (son of James) served his time with his father and worked with him for many years setting up on his own after his father passed away at a young age.
Generation 3 – Adrian’s father, James Flynn (son of Charlie), served his time with his father Charlie and worked with him for many years before working in the industry generally and then decided to commence working for himself.
Generation 4 – Adrian served his time with his father James and worked with him for many years. When deep recession hit in in mid-eighties, Adrian went to America where he worked on many high-end projects on Park Avenue and 5th Avenue in New York. He then went to the UK where he worked on many high-end projects in London and Manchester, worked for a short spell in France on the Disney project when it was under construction and returned to Ireland, where he again worked for his father James.
Adrian set out on his own as a contractor in 2017 and now has a small team of professional decorators with combined experience of almost 100 years.

We work in schools, hospitals, warehouses, shops, apartments and homes of all sizes. Our residential decorating services include repaints, new homes, renovations..
While we decorate homes of all sizes, we don’t normally decorate single rooms unless they are very large rooms.
Our commercial decorating services include office facilities, shops, pubs, restaurants, schools, apartment blocks and new housing developments.
